The VP, Client Partner is the senior commercial owner of a defined portfolio of client accounts. This role owns the end-to-end client relationship, account P&L outcomes, expansion strategy, and long-term value realization across assigned clients. The VP, Client Partner acts as the primary executive counterpart to client leadership and is accountable for aligning Sales, Practices, and Delivery to drive sustained growth, margin performance, and client satisfaction. This role is not sales origination and not delivery execution — it is the commercial integrator and owner across the client lifecycle

Responsibilities
Executive Client Ownership

• Serve as the primary executive relationship owner for assigned accounts
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with VP, SVP, and C-suite client leaders
• Represent the firm in executive forums, QBRs, steering committees, and escalations
• Act as the escalation point for all client-level commercial and relationship issues

Account Strategy & Growth

• Own and execute account growth strategy, including expansion, renewals, and cross-sell
• Identify new demand in partnership with Sales and Practice leadership
• Drive multi-year account plans with clear revenue, margin, and growth targets
• Convert delivered value into follow-on opportunities

Commercial & P&L Accountability

• Own account-level revenue, margin, and commercial performance
• Approve pricing strategies, scope changes, and commercial terms
• Partner with Sales Support on SOWs, change orders, and contractual governance
• Proactively manage commercial risk and margin erosion

Internal Orchestration & Leadership

• Orchestrate cross-functional teams across:
  – Sales
  – Practice Leadership
  – Program / Delivery Leadership
  – Sales Support
• Ensure the right capabilities are deployed at the right time
• Resolve conflicts across functions to protect client outcomes and firm economics
• Provide clear direction without direct line authority in a matrix environment

Delivery Oversight (Executive-Level)

• Provide executive oversight of delivery health across the account portfolio
• Monitor program risk, milestones, and value realization
• Partner with Delivery Leaders to address issues impacting client trust or outcomes
• Ensure delivery aligns to agreed objectives and client success metrics

Qualifications

• 12–18+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, or systems integration
• Proven ownership of multi-million-dollar client portfolios
• Demonstrated experience owning account-level P&L outcomes
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior client stakeholders
• Experience operating in complex matrix organizations
• Excellent commercial judgment and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to build relationships across complex, multi-national organizations at the VP / SVP / C-Suite Level

Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of one or more of manufacturing planning solutions such as Kinaxis Maestro/Rapid Response, o9 Solutions, SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, APO or IBP, Blue Yonder/JDA, Anaplan etc.
• Strong Ownership and Passion to learn new concepts and technologies
• BS/MS/PhD in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in distribution requirements planning, manufacturing, production planning, demand management industry role and/or business software consulting role.
• Ability to work in remote teams, cooperate with customer stakeholders at executive and junior levels in a corporate hierarchy
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Hands on experience in software development
• Consulting mindset
• EU work permit is required

Optional:

About You:
Are you a student or recent graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Management, or another IT or business-related field?

• Combine business knowledge and technical skills in real, global projects.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you should possess a blend of:

• Working on projects with global customers that have a significant impact on their international operations,
• Spending about half your time engaging with clients to understand their needs, and the other half developing and refining solutions — independently or with your team.
